You'll Receive:
- A low ratio of 1 leader for every 3 or 4 travellers.

- All entertainment, tickets, tours and
admissions–at no extra cost.
- All accommodations, transportation, and meals
at the destination. We stay at 3–5-star hotels.

- Ongoing communication before and after every
trip to answer questions and give feedback.

travelers, their families and caregivers. We have
an amazing 80% traveler return rate!
- Round trip airfare is included in our package
price is based on departure from Victoria BC. For
international destinations, and cruises, round
trip airfare is included from Victoria BC or
Vancouver BC. Additional costs may apply for
other departure cities.
Are your Respite Adventures wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we will do our best to make sure all of our trips are
wheelchair accessible!
What level of support do you provide?
Our support ratio is one leader for every 3 or 4 travelers.
Maureen or Tim will assist travelers with medications,
spending money, and prompts for bathing, hygiene,
dressing and using the restroom.
Travelers who require any complex care or one-to-one
personal care, they may need to bring a personal care
provider for their safety and well-being at the same cost
as the person travelling. If staff from MT Respite
Adventures is assisting with one-to-one personal care for
hygiene or medical reasons, an additional cost will be
incurred. We will assess the needs of our travelers before
each trip to ensure we have their best support plan in
place for them to safely travel.
Can we send a care provider with our traveler who has extra support needs?
Yes, It is the traveler’s responsibility to pay for their
care provider to go on the vacation. Care providers
pay the same all-inclusive package price as the
traveler. Travelers and their care providers will be
required to share a room.
How does a traveler get to their destination if they live in another Province?
MT Respite Adventures has a certified travel agent who
will arrange air transportation from your area to the
vacation destination. Maureen and Tim accompaniment is
guaranteed out of Victoria or Vancouver BC. If we have
travelers from different provinces or territories in
Canada, we will arrange to meet you at our final
destination. For our travelers who fly unaccompanied,
airline-assisted gate transfers will be requested for any
flight connections. Plus, airline gate assistance passes can
be obtained to walk travelers through airport security
and directly to their flight departure gate. We will meet
travelers at their flight arrival gate at the final
destination. All travelers must have a current Canadian
Picture ID for traveling within Canada and a Current
Canadian Passport with an expiratory date no longer
then six months before the travel date to travel
internationally.
